"Wait After Medical"
 
   Hi Mr. Cohen

I m a landed immigrant and i got married last june 2002 and applied for my wife's immigration from islamabad ( She is in pakistan ) . I got the approval from Case processing center and she got the medical papers in october and submit the medical in Novemnber at islamabad canadian high commission. I sent everything original to case processing center. since then we haven't heard anything from them .

How long does it take to get the VISA once medical in done .

In the case of Islamabad, the typical delay to visa issuance would be 4-6 months for a Family Class case, barring outstanding requirements (i.e., background clearance).
