"work visa while Pr in process"

Canadavisa is indeed a wonderful website and highly informative, I require some help here

I have been notified I require an interview from Buffalo. I had applied under skilled worker when I was working in USA. Presently I am working in India, Recently I have also got a job offer in Canada through an ex change program (exempt from HR validation) Now I require to get a work and Visitor visa. The job offer is in a Marketing area & not in market research. Will the change in job description or rejection of my visitor visa from India affect my Pr application?

Kindly advise as I have a wonderful opportunity I would like to avail but not at the cost of hurting my Pr application

With best regards
Rishi

Refusal of a temporary resident permit application should not have any bearing on your permanent resident application, with the exception of refusal for reasons of fraudulence.

The issue of the change in designation can be an issue if it contradicts a stated intended occupation (for cases submitted prior to June 28th 2001). In such a case, it may be best to emphasize any aspects of the new position which are consistent with your previously stated intended occupation.
