"Additional Family Information"

My husband (principal applicant) submitted to the Canadian Embassy-Manila our immigrant visa application last Nov 26, 2002 and then on Dec 11, 2002 I gave birth (we didn't indicate in our application that I was pregnant and that I was to give birth in Dec). As of today we haven't received yet their "AOR" in which case, do we have to update our application even if we don't have yet the NSO copy of our baby's birth certificate and passport which the embassy requires? If so, how do inform the embassy in the absence of these two required documents?

Amendment is important in any case in which a new family member is "created." If you have not yet received your file number, however, it may be best until this is issued in order to conduct the amendment to ensure that the new documentation is properly coordinated.
