"Where to start?"

My mother and I wish to immigrate to Canada from England. Neither of us are professionals (she has been a single parent and I have been travelling the world).

On the positive side, my Mother has an uncle in Ontario and we could easily purchase property in Canada without the use of a mortgage. I would also like to study full time in Canada.

What are our options? Where do we start?

Thankyou

Shaun

The first step is to compare your qualifications to the various Permanent and Temporary resident programs which exist, and to determine which is most likely to be successful.

An uncle will lend points in the Skilled Worker program, but may not entitle your mother to eligibility in any other program.

To get started, it may be best to review the Canadian Immigration FAQ and to conduct an online assessment to determine your collective eligibility.
