Dear Mr. Cohen,Is the current pass mark of 75 (skilled applicant) will change in the near future or it will take time for the Canadian Immigration to decide about changing the pass mark?
I think the current pass mark is too high and in my own opinion, I think, only those who are highly educated person (Engineers,Doctor's, Lawyers etc), or has a relative in Canada, or studied in Canada, or have a job offer, could only have a chance to be granted with an immigrant visa if applied as skilled workers.
So it's like, the ordinary person (technical, trade persons, carpenter, person's with only one or two year post-secondary education)but willing to contribute and settle in Canada and knows positively that they can be successful there, also got funds, but has no any relative or job offer are still has no big chance to be admitted as immigrant. Although there's one more way (positive decision by the visa officer), it's still not sure if the ordinary person will pass.
I think, I'll just wait until the system changes again or I may not applied anymore because I'd like to work there while I'm still young but if I'm old, I'ts hard now to adjust or even get a job.
Thank you for answering my questions.
