   Firstly let me congratulate you for the excellent page your firm has. I've been search a lot of places around internet and, for sure, this is the best.

I'm a peruvian civil engineer applying for PR as a skilled worker in Lima - Peru. I presented all my documents (included the CEE assesment) in march 2002. I updated information about my english level (TOEFL) and my wife's engineer title in June (according to the new regulations) but I haven't received nothing from the embassy yet. Neither a confirmation nor a date for an interview. Is this normal ?

   The Canadian Embassy in Lima indicates that they will contact the applicant within 12 months from the date of submission of the application. Applicants are therefore requested not to contact the embassy unless those 12 months have expired and no further information and/or instructions has been issued. At which point, the applicant is requested to contact them.
