basten 30-Nov-00, 01:55 AM (GMT) "Background clearance and other info" Dear Cohen, Is the fact that you have been leaving in the US since you are 20, and obtained your "No arrest" record from the FBI good in terms of the background clearance also since the FBI would be able to detect that you are a terrorist. In other words is obtaining a clean record from the FBI a good way of speeding the background clearance, since it is a powerful investigation agency?? the other question is that, friends have told me that now at Buffalo, the only documents required at submission of application are : fee, photos, employment letter. and that the rest could be provided later on without delaying the application, is that true? "RE: Background clearance and other info" In our experience, the result of the police clearance process does not have a direct bearing on the background clearance procedure. Buffalo requests that all documents be provided at the time of submission of the application.
