"Amending Spouse"

I am Muru, living in USA. Applied for Canadian Permanent residence in Canadian Consulate General, Buffalo, NY which is in the final stage of the process. I am planning to get married a girl who is in India.

In order to include her in my application, does she need to be present in USA to apply in Buffalo, NY. OR after I sent the amendment application to Buffalo, Ny where my application is in process, does they will send her application to Delhi, India for processing?

Muru, I am in the same sitution. I finished my interview in detroit day before successfully. They are awaiting my medicals and then i will be all set. In the meantime, I am planning to get married to a girl from bombay. Quite confused if I should wait for my landing papers and then sponsor or get married now and make an amendment to my application. Do you know where I can get forms for amendment? Thanks.

The amendment is conducted at the location at which the application is being processed. New family members are not obliged to be resident in the same country.
