basten 28-Nov-00, 05:13 PM (GMT) "Rationale for interview" Hi Mr. Cohen, Is the only condition to have the interview waived, to reach or go beyond 70 POINTS or it is a discretionary decision? For example, I have 68pts, so therefore can my interview still be waived or I had to have 70pts or more? Numerous factors contribute to this decision, which is finally based on the discretion of the immigration officials. The office to which the application was submitted is also a factor, as some offices waive at a lower rate than others.
