"Pressing time in Thailand"

   Dear Mr. Cohen,

I was submitted my application after December 2001. I then received the file number in February 14, 2002. I did not receive any further information from the immigration in Singapore at all even I hold my Ph.D. Could you please advise me how to do? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately like all processing posts, the Canadian High Commission in Singapore is also experiencing a backlog. Currently the Canadian High Commission is scheduling Personal Selection interviews within 18-24 months from the date of submission. You can, if you wish, fax the immigration officer in Singapore for the status of your case. However as this still within the processing time quoted within the AOR, the immigration officer may chose not to respond.
