"Hepatitis B"

I'm 29 years old married with two children and presently working as a network engineer and have a solid background in windows NT, exchange server and SQL server. Also has a good background in hardware maintenance and configuration.

My question is I was about to apply with my family to be an immigrant in Canada ... but the problem is my last medical check-up found out that I have a Hepatitis B. And according to the doctor there is no medication to treat this disease my question is will this be a problem if I'll pursue my application to Canada.

I know in terms of professionals skills that I am very qualified and I have lots of distant relatives in Manitoba and Toronto. But I need your sincere and honest opinion in my health concern

Thank you very much.

Alvin

1. "RE: Hepatitis B"
If the condition is either active/contagious or is expected to pose an excessive demand on the Canadian health care system, then there is a significant risk that an application could be refused on the grounds of medical inadmissibility.

Only a Medical Officer can make this determination, considering the case history and the prognosis.
