thanks for ur wonderful site. it is really a big help.

here is my question: is it true that all visa posts worldwide are mandated to prioritize all pending independent immigrant applications submitted prior to Jan 01, 2002 and are given until March 30, 2003 to act on them? thanks...

   The March (31st) date that you are referring to is the date on which cases which were submitted prior to January 1 2002 must be assessed under the old criteria before switching over to the new criteria and a lower pass mark.
