linuxDude 25-Nov-00, 04:35 PM (GMT) "Applied in Bufallo, but moving to India." Hello, I have applied for my PR in bufallo (I am in the US now). I am moving to India since my company has opened its branch there. I have not even got my PR case number, since I applied only a few weeks ago. I will move to India after 2 months. Questions: 1. What do I need to do so I can take my interview in New Delhi? Can I request my interview to be scheduled in New Delhi or do I have to transfer my case to New Delhi? 2. Say, I am willing to come to US to take the interview, will my family (wife and baby) be required to be present too? 3. If I choose to transfer my case to New Delhi, what is the average amount of time before I can get the PR? Any advice will be really appreciated. This will likely result in substantial delays to the application. 2. It is possible to request that your dependents be exempted from attendance if it the circumstances prevent such. 3.
