I have a question about when age is calculated on an application -- I will be submitting my application for Canadian immigration at the Canadian High Commission New Delhi very close to my birthdate (the points go down in my case). The CIC web site says "You will be awarded selection points based on your age at the time when the Visa Office receives your application".

Would that mean that as long as I submit the paperwork before my birthdate I am fine, or is it some other milestone after I drop my application paperwork at the High Commission?
