lomidi 22-Nov-00, 03:20 PM (GMT) "Canadian Immigration fro Buffalo" Mr. David, Hello, I applied for canadian immigartion in Nov. 98 but they refused my application because of CCPE refusal. At that time I applied from from CAIRO (Egypt) as a Electronics Engineer. From January 1999 I am working as a Computer programmer. From last 6 month I am in US on H1-B Visa. and few days before I got 5 years multiple entry visa of canada (Visitor). I have 2-3 queries. 1. Can I again open my that refused file if I show them enough proof of my current job. 2. The fact that you were previously refused, in itself, will not have a negative effect. As a record of the prior application is on record, however, it is important to ensure that the two applications do not have any discrepancies that could be construed as fraudulent. Also, the immigration official in the present application will have access to the commentary and notes of the official in the prior case.
