"Had my LP and then had to apply fresh..."

   Hi:

Had my LP and then had to apply fresh (and return my LP) because my status changed due to marriage.

The Buffalo consulate adviced me to send few documents pertaining my my wife, which I did.

My question is how much time does it take to process the application? It has been more than six months and I have not heard anything other than my File number.

Any answer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Vish Krishnan

As it has been more than 6 months since you received any communication from the visa office, you may wish to send a status enquiry.
