   Hi,

I have 2 questions under the Independent Category for Buffalo office in NY:
1)How soon can I get a file# ?
2)What is the current processing time for Interview/Medical?

Please advise.

   It normally takes 12 to 16 weeks to receive an Acknowledgement of Receipt and file number from Buffalo. You should be notified of your interview status within 8 to 10 months of receipt of your AOR.
