   Dear Mr. Cohen,

What would be the requirements for a permanent resident wishing to sponsor aged parents where the parents are financially well off and can transfer adequate funds to Canada?

   Regardless of the financial status of the sponsored family members, the sponsor must still demonstrate the minimum income level required to sponsor them.
