ghassan 26-Oct-00, 06:25 PM (GMT) "2nd Time Application" dear sir, I have applied for an immigration to Canada 2 years + ago. i was rejected. now I have applied for the second time. I got the preliminary approval. I have the detailed application to fill out. in the application, it requires to state whether I have previously submitted an application for immigration and/or my application has been rejected. my question is would it be considered a negative point that an earlier application was rejected? what are the negative deductions in this case (if any)? thank you in advance,   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

"RE: 2nd Time Application" The fact that your application was previously refused, in itself, would not necessarily be a negative factor in the present application unless the refusal was for medical or security reasons, or for reasons of fraudulence. Records of the prior application are kept, however, and may be referenced.
