"IMM0008 Question"

I am a Canadian sponser to my Latin American wife. We are both divorced and have two children each. All are students under the age of 18. My children live with my ex-wife. In the IMM0008 application under dependent children do we list my 2 children as dependents even though they are Canadians by birth and will not be immigrating. They would in fact be my new spouse's step children.

Since your children are Canadian citizens, they do not have to be listed as dependants on your wife's IMM0008 form. However, you must be sure to count them as your dependants when completing your sponsorship application.
