I would like to know what is the minimum number of months of waiting for an immigrant visa. Will it take longer time to process my papers if i dont course it through an agency?I would also want to know if i have a pending petition in the US, will there be no problem if i apply as immigrant in Canada? I asked this question because my US immigrant visa is taking too long that is why i would like to know if it also take years to wait for a Canadian immigrant visa.
I have just finished my second masteral degree which is MS in Finance, my first one was MS Applied Math major in Actuarial Science. I am currently working as a Senior Actuarial Researcher in a social insurance company. Please advise me of my chances of getting a job in Canada prior to my going there as an immigrant. I do not have any relative living in Canada and i think it would not be easy if i go there without employment. Will it not be hard to find places to rent if ever my immigrant visa is approved?
