Is 3 year physical presence in Canada applicable to children under 18 to apply for citizenship? or does it apply only to main applicants?

The requirements of physical residency apply to all permanent residents seeking citizenship, including dependant children. In the case of a child, however, it may be more likely that an exception would be made to this requirement if the parent is otherwise eligible for citizenship.
