"waiting time in Seattle"
 
   Dear Mr. Cohen,
Could you please advise what is the current waiting time for an interview in Canadaian Consulate in Seattle? I got a letter from Buffalo dated Feb 5 saying that the interview is required and my file will be transferred to Seattle in 7-10 months, then another 2 months for them to set a date in advance?

Yes, that it is correct, based upon our experience. The Canadian Consulate in Buffalo New York, seems to now be taking 7-10 months to complete the transfer of the file to an interview site (which is either New York City, Detroit, Los Angeles, or Seattle). The interview will usually take place very shortly after the transfer, usually within about 1 months time.
