"I have delayed my medical examinations.........."

   Receive my greetings everyone.

I am worry about an issue. I have almost finished the Canadian application
process for independent immigration. When I finished the interview with
the immigration officer, I received instructions for the medical
examinations (two month ago), nevertheless I had some personal problems and
by this reason I have had to delay the medical examinations. I will be ready
for this medical check on next month.
My question is: I know that there is a year available for the examination
from the immigration interview date, but Do you know if that delay could be
harmful for my process?
I am very concerned about this aspect and I will be grateful with any help

1. "RE: Medical Exam Delay"
In response to message #0

In most cases applicants are NOT given up to 1 year to conduct medical examinations. In fact, in most cases, the average tends to be 60 to 90 days, but this can vary widely, depending on the situation, as well as the processing center that is involved.

For example, the average time given to attend a medical exam for the Canadian Consulate in Buffalo, New York, tends to be 60 days. For the Canadian Embassy in London, it tends to be 90 days. In some cases, however, an applicant is given just 4-5 days to attend the medical exam, or other times an applicant can be told not to attend the exam, until a period of time, such as 6 months, or 1 year has passed.

In your particular case, we are uncertain how long you have been given to attend your medical exam. If you are uncertain as well, we recommend that you contact the processing center to find out as quickly as possible. As long as the medical exam is completed within the given time frame, the delay in conducting the medical exam usually does not have a negative effect upon the application. Thus we recommend that applicants always comply with requests within allotted time frames, and that they confirm that they have done so, in writing.
