"Possible Changes In Quebec Regulations"

Hello.I have a question which may be of help to many other applicants like me and that is :what have been the effects of new FEDERAL regulations of immigration,on the regulations of government of Quebec. For example if the scoring system of Quebec for skilled workers has been subjected to any changes,or the minimum settlement funds have been increased or if the classification of the professions under skilled workers category (Assured Job,Occupations in demand,Employability and professional mobility program)has changed.I thank you in advance for your answer.

The new rules and regulations governing Canadian federal immigration, including new requirements for evidence of settlement funds, have not affected immigration rules and regulations for Quebec.

Quebec maintains seperate control of its own rules and regulations for approving applicants who wish to immigrate directly to that province. Quebec approval is, however, subject to subsequent Canadian federal government approval, but usually only in terms of the applicant passing Canadian federal government security and medical examination standards.
