"processing time"

Hi Mr. Cohen, spouse sponsorship submitted by my husband has been approved, I've completed the application kit for permanent residence and submitted to the visa office in Trinidad, how long again do you think it will take for application to be processed?

Applications for Permanent Residency under the Family Class Category immigration are usually made a priority, in an effort to reunite applicants within this category with loved-ones in Canada, as quickly as possible. Nevertheless, the processing times can seem long to applicants, eager to be reunited.

The world wide processing times for Family Class Category applications tends to average 14 months. (In our experience this figure tends to apply to the Canadian embassy in Trinidad as well.)
