"How to sponsor my Fiancee??"
I Landed in Canada, in Summer 2000 from US (where I am going to school) I have one semester left and I will graduate in May 2001

I would then go to back Pakistan to get married, and would like to bring my wife along. But, since it takes 5 to 6 months for the sponsorship of the Fiancee please guide me the fastest and easiest way to achieve this.

I do'nt work in Canda right now, because I am going to school here in US. But I'll go back in coming December to submit Tax returns, and apply for RRP.

I would be in Canada on X-mas and would be able to do the required paper work. What is that I have to do? I need your guidance, or a useful link to Canadian gov. site that could give details of things (paper work) required so I could get those.

Since, canadian gov. is a bit linient on LICO when sponcering Fiancee/Spouse. So I think I can start the sponcership process.

I would appreciate your help in this matter. Specially some useful links that could guide to solve the problem.

1. "RE: How to sponsor my Fiancee??"
A primary requirement of sponsorship is that the sponsor be resident in Canada. Demonstration of sufficient Canadian income is also generally a requirement.

Sponsorship of your fiancee at this time would likely not be approved. There is no leniency in the income requirements for such sponsorships. Such leniency, however, may be applied to the case of a spousal sponsorship in which the sponsor could not demonstrate sufficient income, but is not on social assistance in Canada.

Until you have established your residency in Canada, and have gained sufficient Canadian income or have married, the sponsorship does not appear feasible.
