   DEAR,

MY HUSBAND (CITIZEN OF CANADA)HAD APPLIED MY PAPERS FOR IMMIGRATION ON 4TH JULY AND WE HAVE DONE OUR MEDICAL ON 19TH JUNE.ON NOV 1ST I RECIEVED A LETTER FROM NEW DELHI HAVING MY FILE NO: AND STATING THAT MY INTERVIEW HAS BEEN WAIVED .SIR I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP OF PROCESSING?,HOW LONG I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY VISA? .FOR I WANT TO BE WITH MY HUSBAND AS EARLIEST IT HAS ALREADY BEEN 6 MONTHS.PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!.

Applications for Permanent Residency under the Family Class Category immigration are usually made a priority, in an effort to reunite applicants within this category with loved-ones in Canada, as quickly as possible. Nevertheless, the processing times can seem long to applicants, eager to be reunited.

The world wide processing times for Family Class Category applications tends to average 14 months. (In our experience this figure tends to apply to the Canadian embassy in New Delhi as well.)
