Some applicants qualify to immigrate specifically to Canada's Province of Quebec, which maintains its own separate rules and regulations.

Some applicants qualify for both Quebec specific immigration, as well as Canada-wide immigration. In such cases, an applicant will need to make an initial decision about his/her intended destination in Canada. If that person wishes to live and work in Quebec initially, then the application will first be processed by the Quebec Government, and should be submitted to the Quebec Government initially.
