   Is there any affect of illegal status in USA on the canadian immigration process if case is filed from with in USA ?After 11 sept i heared that they are denying applications because of this that ur status is illegal in USA but there are no criminal records and any terrorist activities found.

1. "Out of Status in USA"
In response to message #0
 
   If an applicant admits that he or she is in the USA illegally, then his or her application for Canadian Permanent Residency may be rejected on "criminal grounds".

Where no such admission is made by the applicant, some understanding has been shown for "in-between-status" cases.
