"Processing of Applications"

   Dear David,

What happens to the pending applications that are under process at various visa offices, in the light of 'regulations' not yet finalised? Will they treat the period from now to the publications of the regulations as the 'transition period and stop processing further.

My apprehension is that Hongkong, which is already lagging might stop the pending application processing on the pretext of ' Transition'. What are your views and advise on this?

Let me tell you, though the number of visiters may not be very high to this site( I guess), the authenticity of the informations are very good like the info. on Bill c-11,it's timing and other areas.

Is there anything that you want me( regular vister) to do to improve the parcipants so that everybody would benifit?.

Thanks & Regards.........nkris

There is no expectation that the visa office's will stop processing applications until the Regulations are finalized. We have cases in process around the world and have not noted any such effect. Until implementation of C-11, you may expect processing to proceed as normal.

Regarding your question on how to help others in the community, the best thing is to share your own experience. Readers need not wait until a question is posed to do so. You can be sure that numerous readers will benefit from hearing about others' experiences in the process.
