"Waiting for LP from CHC Islamabad"
 
   Dear Mr. Cohen
We would appreciate if you could answer our query regarding issue of LP.

We have completed all requirements including medical, landing fee etc and now waiting for LP from Islamabad. Our medical is going to expire in somewhere March 2002.

Under the current situation at CHC Islamabad, do you think they will issue us LP or we'll be treated like scores of other people whose file is being moved to other visa posts for further processing.

   Unfortunately, as a result of the reduced visa operations in Islamabad, it is likely that the issuance of your landing documents will be delayed. There has not been any official move to transfer applications out of Islamabad as yet, so we would not expect that this would happen to your case.

When transfers are conducted due to crises such as this, the applications generally resume processing where they left off. This is unlike a transfer requested by an applicant, in which case the case starts processing from the beginning.
