1. "RE: Visitor's Visa" |
Given that a visitor visa is based on the discretion of an immigration official, there is no means of estimating success. If the immigration official is satisfied as to the temporary nature of the applicant's intended visit, then the application is approved. If the officer feels that there is sufficient risk of immigration (i.e., remaining in Canada permanently), then the application would be refused.Documentation in support of a visitor visa application should, therefore, be evidence of the applicant's intent to return home. Evidence of familial, occupational, financial, and other ties to his or her home country would be common evidence. Showing a return ticket for the flight is another common means. ________ Campbell,Cohen - attorneys at law info@canadavisa.com tel: (514)937-9445; fax: (514)937-2618 http://www.canadavisa.com
