"HELP"
 
   I applied for Canadian immigration through an agent in January 2001. It seems the agent is not monitoring my application at all. She keeps on saying she has not received my file number till now. I eventually mailed the High Commission and was given my file number. I intend terminating the agent's services and writing the High Commission to Contact me directly for future correspondence. Hope this would not have a negative impact on my application? I really need your advice.

   Hi,
Reference to your message, i would like to ask you that where did you write to get ur file no. I have also applied but i did it on my own and its been quite sometime. I havent received my File No. and i was thinking of writing to them too, so could you please briefly tell me that what did u write in ur mail to get the required info.

   Revocation of your authorization to a representative, in itself, should not have any bearing on your eligibility in the application.
