"Pregnancy"
Dear Sirs

I am the principal applicant for immigration to Canada. Medical examinations and the interview all went well. We were notified that our application is successful, and are planning to go to Canada some time next year. However, I found last week that I am now pregnant. Can we still go to Canada before the baby is born? Or, will the authorities refuse to let us in because of my present physical condition?

I shall appreciate if you kindly give me some advice.

Best wishes
Sue

There is no bar to landing while pregnant, assuming that you are in a suitable condition to travel. If, however, the delivery occurs prior to landing, then your landing documents would have to be returned for amendment of your family status.
