graviton 02-Oct-00, 07:46 PM (GMT) "Change of status before Landing - Returning landing docs" Dear Sir: I applied for immigration from London, UK and received the landing papers. If I get married before landing, I am supposed to return the landing papers and get the status ammended. 1. How long does it normally take to return papers, get the status changed to "married" and get new landing papers? 2. Do I have to return the landing papers to London, or can I do it anywhere else? 3. If landing documents had been issued, the documents must be returned to the issuing office along with a request for the amendment of your spouse. The duration of the procedure would typically take approximately 5 months.
