"1 year from date of Medical"
Dear Mr. Cohen,

Thanks for the reply to my earlier query !

Me & my family had our Medical examination done in Feb 2001. We have completed rest of the formalities in Feb 2001 itself.

We still haven't received our Landing papers. Also the written enquiry sent to CHC, Delhi last month about the status, has received no response so far.

I understand the medical exam is valid only till Feb 2002.

At this stage I wish to ask you 2 questions :

1> What happens if we don't receive landing papers till Feb 2002?
2> What happens if we receive landing papers before Feb 2002, but decide to relocate only in May 2002 ,after my daughter's School term is over. Will it require complete re-examination for the whole family all over again (because the validity period of 1 year would have been over by that time)

Thanks & regards,
Dan

If the landing documents are not ready for issuance by February 2002, then the immigration officials may extend the validity for a few months, or request new medical examinations for your family. Once the landing documents are issued, you will have to land by the expiration date of such, or would be required to undergo a new application.

You may request new medical examinations if you wish to land after February 2002, but issuance of such would be at the discretion of the immigration officials.

Hello Dear Mr.Cohen,

There has been no further development in my case. Any idea what's happening at New Delhi CHC? When can I expect LP? Moreover how is the Economic situation in canada (in terms of job prospects)

Thanks & regards,
Dan
