"Medical Inadmissability"
My Mother (a Canadian Citizen)is has been married to an Australian Citizen for almost 10 years. They are now in Canada on vacation and would like to stay. Is epilepsy considered a serious medical condition ? Would having epilepsy be grounds for non admission to Canada?

Thanks

1. "RE: Medical Inadmissability"
Only a medical officer can make such a determination when provided with the medical examination results and any other available information on the applicant's medical history. As a general rule, a condition would not be grounds for inadmissibility unless it was either a threat to the Canadian public health, or it was expected to pose an excessive demand to the Canadian health care system.
