When we have the photos printed out should I print it with the dates that show up on the front of the picture or should I print them without the dates and write it on the back?

I print my photos with dates shown on the front. As I got a lot of photos, I just chose few with descriptions on the back.

Are we not allowed to have them on the back and front?

does it really matter? we sent a mix printed on the front, we wrote on the back, some had nothing on them. I dont think they care as long as they can see when they were taken, or at least they can see from the photos as well that there was time between the photos being taken. ( you have aged for example).
Its not like their using then for your ID photos or anything, they just want to see that you were in a relationship when you say you were.  Grin

Agree. I think it doesn't matter.

By the way, as a gentle reminder, please don't write at the back of the 6 immigration photos. I got a letter from the Consulate requesting me to resend the photos as I wrote down my name at the back.

you mean the appendix B photos? I think that depends on which country you are applying to. I'm applying to Tokyo, Japan and it requests that the applicant must provide 9 photos with name, date, and signature on the back.

Some of the requirements on the Visa office specifications varies according to the countries.
