dears,

date of birth is inccorect in passport. will it be a problem or not. should i apply for new passport?

pls advise

The question is, why is it incorrect? Was it a mistake from the issuing office? I think it will be a problem, if they compare the birth certificate with the passport, because the identity has to be the same, I would think. So yes, I would apply for a new passport.

You need to get it corrected that's all.  They might make an endorsement of the correction within the pages or issue a new pp no questions asked, if it was their mistake.  If it was your mistake then you have to bear the expense.  This is what happened for my daughter's Indian pp, the gender was written as male and was corrected within a single business day!

Date of Birth is VERY IMPORTANT..... get it corrected right away.
