I don't have a BFD to compare, but other dates in CAIPS are written dd-mm-yyyy.

It is dd-mm-yyyy

I have a 30-03-2010 in an old CAIPS note. So it has to be this format only.

So my BF'd date has gone

as my BF'd was on 11-04-2011, 11th of April 2011, then should I order the caips again now to see what has happened to my file??

No point. Mostly VO's review the file after the BFD has passed!
Unless your last CAIPS note has something alarming, then no use ordering again. Most likely nothing new will appear.

could be an Interview date stamped on my CAIPS by the VO during the last BF'd date? 11-04-2011, 11th of April 2011  How else would I know what the VO wrote on my file during his last visit?

Except you ordered caip Notes, if not it is impossible fr you to know what he wrote. Mine was 22.1.2011 and till date i have not heard anything from them. 

I also thought of ordering 2nd caips to see what they have written , but i was advised that sometimes the date comes and past without the VO opening the file. I am just waiting, since January and still no news.

Iam planning to order new caips maybe by august if i do not receive anything from them.

 @  Jnathan, There must be an information written on your CAIPS notes by the vo/Io as per how far they have gone on your application. I recieved mine on 5th of March 2011 and the information given by my Io/vo after paper screning/ selection review was that i should be issued medicals and RPRF in 2010 but the officer in medical department responded that, they'll issue medicals and RPRf request at later date as they had met their target/quota for the year. All these info were written in the notes so i expect you to have detailed info in your CAIPS note too.
