you got that email today? I wish I could help but I have no clue what this means. maybe you can call CIC on Monday and ask. I agree with Mr Bou.. this could be good because it is pretty early to be contacted, they must be working harder.... but I can see how it would be scary too with the part about not being a routine case. I wish I knew what this meant. did your husband live in other countries? maybe they r waiting on other countries for checks? Did he do military service?

ramz believe me what they meant is that it needs verfications like all sponsorship cases, it doesn't mean there's a problem with ur application, they just wanna tell u don't contact us before 13 months, don't worry!

Dont worry it is very safe around the embassy area try to take someone with you if you dont want to travel alone and if you pay the taxi extra you dont have to be 5 customers in the taxi it all depends where you are leaving lebanon to damascus for example from chtoura park your car there in the parking lot take a receipt they will look after your car take a taxi they will drop you only to the border after the last incidents no taxis are allowed to go further to damascus then take a smaller cab to the embassy and try to be there around 8 am take a copy of the email and nicely explain why you are there and if they can stamp your passport same day with a smile by the way there is a nice cafe shop beside the embassy for coffee tea or breakfast they open at 9 am . good luck and have a safe trip and dont forget to take syrian money for your trip.

im completely crushed and my husband is even more crushed and is now planning to have me go to syria ....this is crazy very discouraging why would they crush your dreams like that why ??
