mo jo tell your wife it is ok to cry at least tears help us clear our depression keep on encouraging her and pray for her and your file i know it is so easy to say that i was crying myself too last week and here we go those tons of tears took me nowhere except that I was in a bad mood but our friends here thanks for them they were so supportive and I am sure if you read back they will lift your sipirt so my advice take it easy and keep on praying and soon you will be done

for those of u who redid medical without being asked, how soon did you redo them. we plan on doing them before they ask. my husbands medical expires in 6 weeks, do u think it's too early?

my first medical expired in july 1, and today i redid it coz of the interview i have in jan 9

I am staying with my spouse here in Lebanon, so I went with him to the interview. I wasn't allowed in at first but then the interviewer had asked to see me. Usually it's just for the person being sponsored but if you're there then they probably will call you in. He just told us that is was normal procedure. There were actually about 11 other people there having interviews as well.

I sent my file aug 21.
Got the letter Oct 19.
Now nothing...
Here is the thing there is an Application number in the letter starting with the letter F, But when i put it in the site it says it does not exist has anyone else had this problem for the online service?

Hello and welcome to the forum ..

the F number iss some number for internal use only...you need to use the B number or the client number to access E cas ..but E cas is pretty useless friend. based on our experiences .

processing time is 13 months so youre at a month and half i suggest you create a timeline on daisypath see below my comment and that way you keep track of your time line .

When we sent in our application, there was a question asking where we want to use as our "point of contact" if we need an interview or if we need to pick something up. There was a choice between Beirut and Damascus. I think they had just changed it recently (back when we applied) so that people wouldn't have to travel to Syria...they probably changed it after you applied so that's why you have to go to Syria.

Yes bring your wife along, it will help prove your marriage is genuine. They may or may not ask her to come in, but if you do mention she is outside waiting they will probably call her in. Good luck and glad to hear your wife is coming for a visit

Welcome to the forum 

They are actually starting to give our file numbers with F...my husband received both a B number and an F number actually! Lol it should be either B or F followed by 9 numbers. But don't trust e-cas, they hardly ever update it. You'll know in real life if anything changes with your application before e-cas is updated.

Your journey is just beginning, so don't expect to hear anything from the embassy for a long time. I don't mean to get your hopes down but just try to stay positive and they times will pass quicker.

We're all here for the same reason, so if you have any questions, ask! I honestly have learned more from this forum than from the embassy and the CIC website. I don't have our chart link saved on this computer so maybe someone else can help you with that but you should add yourself to it and see where everyone else is at too
