hey guysss h r u allll .....yesterday i got my visa .....believe me when i was waiting outside embassy i was praying n wishing that all ppl here in this forum get the visaa so sooooooon ..special KAMAAL..HAB.MIKIE..ILTHAAAAM ...because there were almost same my time ...ya raaaaab DEC will be happyyyyyyyyyy month for all ameeeeeeeen ..btw there were so many ppl waiting for visa so this is mean embassy work faster i felt happyyyy for all...pray for me too ..salam

Shas posted last week that they were in process since aug. 2010. I asked him the same question when they got PPR last week;) he was asked to redo medical in Oct. They had a long wait!

thank uuuuu guyssss ...my application reached  damascus on 21 Augest 2010...they asked me redo-medical on 28th October 2011 they ask ppr on 24th November 2011  my file took almost 15 months  i have underwent veryy saad n drepessing time  ...but inshallah all will get visa  lessssssss than this time  all my dua with u all

i have two questions,
do you think the interview under the (Sponsorship) is a bad sgin?
and my other question do you think they refuse applicants under (Sponsorship)?

Don't worry it's completely normal 
When we had our interview the interviewer said at the beginning that he had no concerns but that it was just normal procedure. The only reason they would refuse under spousal sponsorship is because of a non-genuine relationship or if the applicant was a threat to Canada. So don't worry so much! I know I was veryyyy nervous going into the interview but just relax. The one asking the questions is a normal person, and they're not there to eat you

hi guys does anyone know how much kg (baggage) almost are allowed for a destination to canada??usually it's 2 bags of 22 kg, but a friend told me they switched this law to one bag...is this true? maybe lebanese people who got their visa and left lebanon can help...or anyone...

I believe it depends on the airline as well. I remember when I went from Lebanon back to Canada I was allowed 1 bag 23kg, 1 take on bag of 7kg, and I could carry my purse or my laptop (not both). If I remember this was with Alitalia.

i was just asking because i almost had a heart attack yesterday when i heard about the one bag only, u can't believe how much stuff i must take...but if it's only 75$ for the 2nd then no problem

My husband took 2-ways ticket with Air France. It was 2 bags 23 kg to come here in june, and when he went back to lebanon last week, it was 1 bag allowed (and 75$ for the second one!)

merci al bintou, that's what i heard exactly, and i was chocked because the 2 times i went to canada, i was allowed to take 2 baggages...now they changed it.
