Hello everyone, I just joined you here and See the above list. I have sent a complete sponsorship package to CPC Mississauga and its approved and sent to Damascus on Oct 14. We received our immigration file number shortly after. I can see almost everyone has stated a 'Docs Requested' and 'Docs Sent' date. However, I've never been asked for any documents as of yet. What type of documents do they as for? Is it just regular complementary documents? Thanks. |

It is normally a Residency Questionnaire form.
Eli has already published the form before, check page 47 , post #693 .

Dear Minsha Welcome to the thread. Hopefully your case will be finalized very soon. Don't worry about the questionnaire. Usually they send it but if they don't send it you should be happy.When I contact Damascus they said if we ask for any document, it will increase the normal processing time, so you are lucky they didn't ask for any documents. I was looking at the table; for people who applied in August and after that they didn't ask for any questionnaire except for one so everything is ok, no worries. Wish you all the best  |

Hello all damascus/Beirut applicants,
still no update yet although myself and eli and some other members have passed the normal processing time.
my lawyer sent an inquiry for update almost a month ago and no answer and just send another one 2 days ago and waiting for an answer
it is tough to wait and tougher not knowing how long is the waiting period.
I will be going to the embassy after 2 weeks if i did not hear from them although my lawyer does not support the idea and the reason is I dont want the medical to expire and to redo it again and this will add to the processing time.
I called the embassy and they are too busy to answer phone calls so the lady suggest
sending another urgent inquiry by email or Fax marked as urgent if you have passed 8 months.
will update status when I recieve a reply, Good day everyone and good luck.

Sorry to hear Kamal and Eli !! It must be really tough I bet.. especially waiting when you have no idea what is going on... As for my case... still nothing.. i got a reply from damascus yesterday saying that they still did not receive my application and if i have any further inquiries to contact CIC Mississauga.. however mississauga told me to wait it out a bit as they probably have received the file but havent opened it or anything yet !! I HAVE NO IDEA IF MY FILE IS SITTING IN DAMASCUS OR JUST LOST !! I hate hate hate this feeling.. atleast if I knew it was there id be ok with waiting.. so im giving them until february 20th... about 3-4 weeks and hopefully ill have some news by then otherwise this will be a very heartbreaking year !!! hope you all get some good news inshallah  Ali.. you sent your application in November ? and Damascus already sent you the questionnaire.. wow you are lucky !! I have no answer from them whatsoever about my file |

Thanks for your support.
from the date you got approved in missiuagea until file will reach damascus it takes almost 5 weeks then you will be notified and you will be able to see your status in process on ecas online
just remember if they request any info keep a copy for yourself and dont wait send the info immiediately

Thanks for you support, the situation is so difficult. I really wish none of you experience this situation, it's like I'm left in a dark room and my mouth is also shut.Don't worry, it is impossible they lost the whole application, in some cases they lost few documents but the whole application never. They will send you the letter very soon, don't panic just be patient. It was a holiday, you must expect some delays.Hopefully you will receive their email by end of this week.
