I tried checking on Ecas but nothing of my file is present.. tried with both my last name or my husbands !

for E-Case there is 2 options,1-if you check with your id(like permanent resident card or citizenship no) it show you as a sponsor that your file has been approved and 2-if your file is approved and they sent it to damascus you have to wait for file no,with file number you can check your husband proccessing status.it is just good for checking address,email,nad like that not more

No news is not good news now Anybody has any updates from Damascus? It seems that everybody should wait till at least 10 months

There is no update for me either  Iman exactly they are pushing the envelope, so everyone waits  at least for 6 months. I called Cic yesterday you can't believe what she told me!!! "The normal processing time for Damascus is 9-12 months, do not expect a miracle to happen" what that suppose to mean??

they send me approval letter on      9 NOV 2010 ,
Started processing application on   22 NOV 2010 ,
i wanted to share this with everyone and to see how is my case file getting processed.

Dear Arachir,
Thanks for the news, one of my friend called Damascus and they told her "We will issue visa and passport request till 16th December, and after that we will focus on the applications for late 2009 and early 2010,  but request for passport for those applications will not be issued until January or late February 2011." Even MP office told me don't expect much from December and early week of January.
I'm just hoping for these 10 days, I really want this to be over I'm getting crazyyy  I have a good feeling for this week usually at the beginning of each month we have good news, I hope by the end of this week we have some good news.

I didn't want to frighten you guys, when I heard the news I called my lawyer he said there are fault news he even shows me that the visa office is only closed for a week, and he said there all gossips. I don't know but I think dropping by Damascus won't cause any harm. Because during those time they are open to public so you can go and ask about your case.When I called the MP (Secretary) she was not 100% sure there wouldn't be any action, she said don't expect much.
I really don't know what to believe and trust anymore!! Yaya Marei maybe you can discuss it with your lawyer, lets see what he suggest.

My lawyer does not know anything, he just got the money, and he forget about me, anyway I ll go to embassy and see if there are any activities or not.
