I have a feeling that you will be called by the end of this week, your guess is right just believe in it.It will happen very soon.

no updates 
today I was watching miners in Chile reuniting and joining their families again,,,they were hugging each other and showing their deep emotions, I am thinking that I can completely understand their emotions and feelings, because I myself am separate from my wife for more than 7 months  which is far longer than the time miners spent... I wish I could have same moments as they had very soon,,, hug my wife and press her into my arms  so hard to cope with waiting so hard to be patient

Dear Rezan,

Don't worry my brother. Don't compare yourself with miners. Our cases are completely different from them. We're waiting for a new and happy life with our loved ones in Canada and hopefully a good and successful future. Thank God we and our spouses are all in good health. Although Chile miners meet their wives, but they were in a very bad and dangerous condition. They didn't know even that they survive or not!

So enjoy your life and talk with your wife on the phone everyday ( we also use ooVoo videochat to see each other everyday!  )
and forget the Miners! They will go to mine again but our wives will come to Canada!

I was just comparing our feelings ! but you are right...
We use oovoo too ! Amazing video chat ! We also talk 1 hour on the phone each day... but these methods work no more !!
I hope damascus officer make another huge move again ( like what they did in late september and first week of october)

now its October 15 and Permanent Residence Application Status still Not Available
and no one call from the embassy
no email from them
is that normal ??
i am so worry guys don't know what to do

hi they don't update any information on e-cas  so don't worry they will contact you when  need any document.
 just you have to wait

When did you send your application to mississauga ? after that they will approve sponsor's eligibility and will forward it to the damascus and they will send you a letter and will explain that your file is forwarded to damascus for processing. did you received this letter on 30th September ? after that damascus will send you another letter explaining that your case is started for processing in damascus. they will also issue a file number for you.... please elucidate your case more,,, you can also share your timeline with us if you want
I am totally agree with saman, they dont update ecas, many of our friends who got their visas still see IN PROCESSING while logging in ecas. ecas is not reliable...

thanks for your reply friends i appreciate it
my time line or i should call it my sad story :
App. Filed.......: 07-Aug-2010 and it was received on 9th august 2010 but unfortunately the cic sent it back one month later because of missing forms (lawyer mistake) << the agent said when i called cic!
then i called the lawyer and he said some thing else !!
he said the cic asked for employment letter ( by the way option c already attached to the file )
any way i sent the employment letter with the missing forms and it was received 23 September
they sent me the letter of approval on September 30, 2010 saying my app. has been forwarded to Damascus September 30
till now Damascus didn't sent letter or called my wife
she is now in Amman Jordan

Ok guys my update

 Damascus office contact me with email  request

 The attached Residency Questionnaire   ( I do not know why my lawyer did not tell me about it before,  )
  Original police certificate   ( I need 14 days to get this one 
Original RCMP record (you have provided a copy only)  I did  submet the orginal one  what I AM supposed to do

Still no reply to my enquiry!  It's 12 days from the day I sent my email.

What should I do now? 
They even don't tell me that we have to re-do medicals or not?
