Hey again And WOW congrats to everybody who has gotten PPR! im so happy for everybody alhamdulillah we're all moving forward  Since people seem to have missed my question though ill ask again: After the visa is issued what happens to the passport, does the immigration office mail it to the sponsored person's address? Thanks rola which country are you asking about? i know iran has changed its procedure recently, you use dhl/tnt/aramex and send to the embassy in tehran, they take care of it then the same courier gives it back to you, like you pick it up from the courier, since they dont want people at the embassy in tehran, |

Hiiii i have 2 question? please help me about my military cart 1- my length is 189 cm but in my military write it is 176 cm  is this important? 2- in translate of military cart my branch write civul (civil) - is this important? karte payan khedmat hamishe kharabe hahahaha, dont worry about the military card, its useless, the only reason they ask for it is to make sure you didnt get a **spam**, but whats funny is you can get a fake military card in iran now too loooool, anyways no the height doesnt matter, and the spelling doesnt matter either, my driver's license in canada has made the same height mistake and every time i want to correct it they make another mistake so imagine karte payan khedmat lol |

i guess this is something the guys who got their ppr from tehran can answer, i am curious as well, i dont think it takes long since most of the guys who got their ppr in tehran left within 1 month...... then again it can be different , |

Dear Ped, I got my visa this way recently, it took about 6 weeks from the day I sent my passport to the day I received it. |

congrats dr! your case proved that it is still possible to get it in less than 6 months! all: I think the current list is not a good sample population to judge about the processing time. In my personal experience, those have a clear case with enough supporting documents get their visa in less than 6 months. other factors: 1) sponsor's job in canada 2) sponsored's job 3) if it's a first time sponsorship 4) if the couple have met before. 5) if the forms are complete (e.g. there is no gap in life history) 6) enough relation proof 7) citizen or PR and etc. i hope everyone will get their visa soon but keep in mind behind the scene the cases are different. [also every now and then bad luck!!!!] |

OMG , I was denied appealing for my defense, my lawyer has dropped my case and has told me to get another lawyer, he said Misrepresentation of information is crime, I am so worried, its been more then a year since I got married, it seems no one can help me, please guys some one help me, I cant believe I was denied and all you guys are getting the ppr everyday
