yes my wife is canadian
my application is in damascus but i had my interview in beirut on jun10 does it take so long usually for them to make a decision ?
i received an email today stating that my application is in queue to be reviewed by an officier, what is that supposed to mean, these people
like to keep it a riddle.

 I get married in Canada,
done my Papers backhome, and canada too  ( Marrige certificate, Madicl exam, Police certificate).

 I hope everything ll go good, but I see from all post Damascus office are slow,  because they put us in watting list  anyway good luck all

Dear Jalal
It is a good sign that you are on top of the list now it must be your turn.Regarding this ;"your application is in queue for review", in Damascus there are different priority for different immigration cases now your case is in line for family class. Usually after interview if they don't contact you it is a good sign you will get the visa. Is your wife Canadian?or Iranian-Canadian? for Damascus the processing time is 8 months, maybe because she is Canadian this takes more than the usual time.But no worries you will hear the good news within a month.

Yes, same as mine, got married in canada, civil one and islamic one, was not asked to register my marriage backhome.

Did they ask you to submit any documents before or after the interview?
cause asking for documents is a good sign, it means that they are working on the application.

Hi Jalal, yes you are on top of list  if no visa you would have heard by now from them,send an email or go to the embassy or call them the best is to email them be short in your email nicely request  a follow up on your application and see what will happen email today you should hear by sunday

i didn't hear from them after the interview
and i provided all documents before the interview, the last of which was supplementary information form
and does anyone know what RLA is ? coz usually when they email me, it says visa section
this time it says canadian embassy - RLA , i googled it and all i found was resident legal advisor,
any idea what the hell that means ?
