Considering you have been done with your wife's immigration long time ago (2 years ago), I'm just a little confused why you joined and posted it.

I mean: this thread has been added about 9 months ago and for sure you didn't know about it.
it means you have had very strong motivation to look for it. Are we iranian so important to you?

as for the other comment, i talked with 3 people from iran in person whose cases were processed in less than 5 months.

in the meantime, it's a good idea to talk with our local MPs to increase awareness. I will do so soon.

Let's just accept the fact that no marriage cases are similar to each other, there sure are many many other people who have spouse sponsorships applications going on in Damascus and not everyone posts their timelines on the web, there's not enough data to make a conclusion on what's going on in Damascus, and even if every single file's timelines were available on the internet we still could not make a prediction on who's case takes how long, because each case is different from another.

My husband talked to the MP he says if your case passed 5- 6 months dont contact the embassy about your status cause every time we put a request they take the file out of que. so may be we should keep our case status inquiry as minimum.

It doesn't make sense!
If someone need to update something in his file then they will put his file at the end of the que
That's impossible.

not true, but what is true and I know this for a fact, is everytime you contact the embassy about your case, all the cases fall behind the time peroid. it was written on the forms my husband got when he went to syria.
